Would advise a higher magnification because i know you will want to stretch that rifle out at some point...
Take the hit in the wallet now versus later when you buy a 2nd scope.

That 260 will shoot to 700 yds and still perform on game with the right Bullet.  I would get a mill dot type scope variable to 16 at least

Going with Leupold vx3i 3.5x10x50 instead of Meopta 3x9x42 .

I think the 50mm will give me more light and help my old eyes see little more .They are both very clear scopes with great warranty .

Took the tikka 260 out today and man is it a shooter ,MOA at 100 yards . :)
